JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: EAVE Workshop Manager EAVE is looking for a Workshop Manager primarily responsible for the EAVE Producers Workshop, the EAVE Film Marketing Workshop and the EAVE Film Finance Forum as well as other smaller EAVE events and seminars. The appointment will ideally begin on September 1, 2010. The post is based in EAVE's headquarters in Luxembourg and is full time. EAVE is one of the leading training and development providers for producers in Europe. It is primarily funded by the MEDIA Programme of the European Union and the Luxembourg Film Fund to deliver high quality training for European film and television independent producers. Over the last decade and more, some 1.000 producers have graduated from the programme and now form a unique network at the heart of the industry. Job Description The primary responsibilities will include: * Organisation of the EAVE Producers Workshop (consisting of three 7-days-events taking place in Luxembourg and other European cities) including follow-up of participants and experts, promotion, budget follow-up * Organisation of the EAVE Film Finance Forum and Film Marketing Workshop (two 3-days-events taking place in Luxembourg) including follow-up of participants and experts, promotion, budget follow-up * Organisation of other EAVE events, seminars and meetings * Organisation of EAVE selection process and interviews incl. follow-up of applicants and material The Workshop Manager will work closely with the EAVE Chief Executive as well as supporting other members of the EAVE team as required. Preferable skills required: * Good knowledge and working experience in the European film and television industry * Knowledge of European media training * Capacity to work in a team * Ability to take responsibility and to carry out tasks independently * Fluent English and preferably one or more European languages * Communication and organisational skills * Computer skills (MS-Office, Filemaker) Please send your application (CV, motivation letter) by email only to eave@eave.org Deadline for application: March 1, 2010.
